Jay Wooten

Freshman placekicker and punter at the University of North Carolina. An NKS camper since age 10. Jay might have had a difficult time imagining he would some day be playing at the same school his camp counselor Jeff Reed (Pittsburgh Steelers) was attending. At Scotland County High School, Jay was near the top in most of the national high school ranking services. North Carolina All State placekicker and member of North Carolina's Shrine Bowl team. His outwardly easy going approach belies his fierce determination and competitiveness.
