What kind of a program is the NKS Sunday clinic?
NKS Sunday clinics are a great opportunity for New England kickers and punters to receive the absolute best instruction available from a program recognized across the USA. Coach Muriaty continues to offer the Sunday clinics in an effort to give local players the coaching and recognition they deserve.

There are some other clinics out there. What makes National Kicking Service different?
Recognized throughout the USA, with twenty one years of experience, National Kicking Service is the real thing. Scientifically based techniques through experience on the field and in the biomechanics laboratory. We do not make exaggerated claims or surround our program with hype or hollow celebrity glitter in order to exploit your dreams and aspirations as is the disturbing trend today. Sure, we have NFL players, high school, and college All Americans in our program...but NKS is not "elitist". We don't cater only to those who, at the time, may be performing at a higher level than others. All of our program participants receive a great deal of individual help from a staff that really cares.

What are the kicking clinics like?
Coach Jim Power and staff will work with players on an individual basis. Kickers take what they have learned home with them, practice on their own, and return when they are ready. There are no "sign-up" periods or best times to attend. Dedicated players who love placekicking and punting attend the clinic. Veteran participants recognize the value of training as a group and enjoy meeting and working with new players. It's a lot of fun.

About Coach Jim Power
Jim Power's successful career as a placekicker is a model of perseverance and dedication...qualities that he relates to all the young kickers that he works with. Jim attended Palos Verdes High School where he played soccer under legendary Coach Bill King before making the change to football at Sacramento State University. Professional experience: NFL - L.A. Raiders, NY Jets, L.A. Rams, Houston Oilers. USFL - L.A. Express, Portland Breakers. World League - London Monarchs. Arena League - Charlotte Rage, Dallas Texans. Jim has been the West Coast Director for NKS since its inception, 21 years ago and is available for private instruction year round. Call 949-233-3230.
